What's it like to have Madonna for your mother?  According to one eyewitness, it's pretty great.

People magazine reports that the superstar singer took two of her four children -- Lourdes and Rocco -- out to dinner at Antica Pesa, a restaurant in Brooklyn, New York last week, along with some of the dancers from her MDNA tour.  The party chowed down on calamari, fried mozzarella, seasoned vegetables, tortellini pasta, sea bass and cod, among other dishes.  After watching the singer interact with her kids, an onlooker told People that Madonna seemed like "the coolest mom in the world."

The Dark Knight Rises actor Tom Hardy was also in the restaurant that night, but he wasn't with Madonna's party -- he was dining with a different group of people.

According to People, the Brooklyn restaurant is the New York outpost of an eatery in Rome with the same name, where Madonna ate last year during her tour.
